Alex Cromer : Steven Broome Alex & Steven.. Love Story

Alex and Steven's friendship started in elementary school when he escorted her in the Miss Spectator pageant. They went on their first date when she was 15 and he was 17. College took them separate ways, but they always remained friends. They began dating again in June 2020 and inseparable every since.

"We are truly best friends and we are so blessed to have found our forever in a person have known our entire lives"

What is the one thing you're looking forward to in your life-after-marriage together?

I am looking forward to being with my best friend and the love of my life every single day. We always have such a good time together no matter what we are doing. Our lives truly could be a sitcom so there is no doubt it is going to be so much fun.

How did he pop the question?

My family booked a house in Helen, Ga the week after I graduated with my Master's degree to celebrate. My sister and her husband were taking pictures by the river and asked us to join. During a photo Steven got down on his Knee (in poison Ivy) and asked me to marry him. I cried and then said YES!

"We love to fish & hunt together, watch movies & football. I love his smile, his laugh, his since of humor and he is so handsome! We were each others first loves and we will be each others last. "

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ" Ephesians 21

Jayde & Evan : Downtown Charlotte NC : Engagement Jayde Corley : Evan Finley

Downtown Charlotte Engagement Session

I'm so excited about this wedding! Jayde is one of my favorite cousins and I am so honored to be a part of her wedding!

Evan proposed to Jayde at her favorite spot on Lake Murray, next to the dam & Lake Murray towers. We picked the downtown Charlotte location for engagement photos, because it holds memories for them as Evan worked in the downtown area and lived in the apartments nearby the park where they spent time together. They look forward to their April 2021 wedding, building their life together, working towards their goals together and getting another dog to keep Murray company!

If Walls Could Talk If these walls could talk, what would they say? Walking around this old Montana cabin, I wondered what was the story here. It sits quietly on the base of the Yellowstone river, still standing, still speaking. Erie and quiet, memories blowing through the open frame. Cows pass by, and the river moving in the distance. It was hard to walk away. It invited me to linger and imagine stories of days gone by.

Year after year

I have come to love slowly

how old houses hold themselves-

before November's drizzled rain

or the refreshing light of June-

as if they have all come to agree

that, in time, the days are no longer

a matter of suffering or rejoicing.

I have come to love

how they take on the color of rain or sun

as they go on keeping their vigil

without need of a sign, awaiting nothing

more than the birds that sing from the eaves,

the seizing cold that sounds the rafters.

Shane & Allison Prescott : Blair, SC Wedding Shane and Allisons wedding was one of my favorite weddings. From the simplicity of the reception, to the details of the decorations, and everything in between. You could feel the love these two have for each other and you can see it in every single moment captured. The wedding was held at Cool Branch Baptist Church in Blair, South Carolina with the reception just a short drive away at the charming and historic Feasterville Boarding House where they danced the night away under the stars. This unique location was one I have never been to before and it was perfect for this wedding.

From the perfect lighting to the beautiful November weather. the whole day was absolutely perfect for a wedding.

Allisons wedding gown was soft and feminine with a classic shape, but boasted a delicate embroidery to add just the right amount of elegance.

Allison was surrounded with love and laughter before the ceremony.

Their rings were unique just like their love.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.

But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.

But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

Ecclesiates 4:9-12

The details of the flowers and program carried on the simple, chic and southern feel of the whole wedding.

This old Ford created the perfect backdrop for this wedding! Rustic, chic, southern and full of personality, just like the couple.

"Be humble and gentle in every way. Be patient with each other and lovingly accept each other." Ephesians 4:2

Allison & Shane * Farm Engagement Session * "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." 1 Corinthians 13:4

There is just something so special about a simple kind of love. The kind of love that doesn't need anything extra to understand from the outside. The kind of love rooted in the grace of God. The kind of love you can see and feel with just one look. Thats the love I see when I look at Allison and Shane. From the simple, country setting of their portraits, to the way they look at each other. Love surrounds them in everything they do, and everywhere they go.

Allison and Shane met through work and quickly realized their common ground in farming and adventure. They share a love of animals, outdoors and simple life.

Charlotte & Freeman Coleman : Saluda SC Wedding What a great Wedding! We started out at Corinith Lutheran Church in Saluda.  Such a beautiful church! Also the location where I photographed her cousin's wedding a few years ago. It was calling for rain and thunderstorms all day, but it held off long enough to get all the outdoor photos and the sun came out! After the ceremony we headed to Charlotte's family home on the Lake in Prosperity.  Charlotte & Freeman are so much fun! They were both so carefree and created a relaxed atmosphere.

These little vases were made by Charlotte's Dad. They were on all the tables at the reception. Such a cool personal touch to the wedding!

They were surprised by a "Flash Mob" put on by their friends! So Awesome!

It called for rain, everything was moved inside, but Doug really wanted to be married under the palm trees in the garden. Club 180 Paint & Dog Show A couple weeks ago, Sydney, Sadie and I planned a visit with Club 180 again. We wanted to bring something fun for the kids, so Sydney suggested taking their new Australian Shepard puppies, Boaz & Lola to visit and teach the kids how to do tricks with the dogs and Sadie and I decided we would also plan a paint activity. We had a great time with the kids. We started out telling them about the story of Noah's Ark and how God cares for the animals. The kids had a short attention span on the story, because they were so excited to get to the "puppy part".

Boaz, is a special little puppy who is already living up to his name. We told them of how just the previous weekend, he was very sick with a bacterial infection and he became limp and couldn't walk. We prayed over him and had faith that God would heal him, and a few days later he was jumping and running again! He is super smart and is eager to learn! I know he is going to make an awesome dog!

Sydney started out showing the kids tricks he has learned so far, and how she taught him. She went around the room and let the kids take turns having Boaz jump, roll over, sit, lay down, fetch and follow their hand. Later they went outside and let Boaz chase them and took turns walking him on a leash.

Here you see Sadie's puppy "Lola" sitting in the floor. She didn't know many tricks yet, but she enjoied all the attention from the kids!

Next they had a small meal. Club 180 serves them food every day after school, helps with homework, fits in activities and sends them home with snacks.

After eating and everyone "turning their teeth orange"... we started to paint!

We made animals out of their handprints, and since we ran out of time, me and the girls (with the help of my mother) finished out their paintings over the weekend to create their animal.

We added scriptures to the paintings "Love each other as I have loved you" John 15;12 and "Seek God's will in all you do and He will direct your path" Proverbs 3:6

We fell in love with these sweet little faces! As much fun as they had, these kids were such a blessing to me and the girls! We look forward to going back on May 26th for their "End of School" party! They have requested we bring back the puppies, so we better get started on some new tricks!

T&S Farm Outdoor Wedding Cody & Chelsi Jeter : July 29, 2016

What a great wedding! This one was super special to me because Cody is my nephew and Chelsi has been his one and only for years!

I will start out with a couple favorites from Chelsi's bridal portrait. These were taken in a special place in the woods behind her house where she used to play as a little girl. What a beautiful bride she is! I love her unique style!

Chelsi and her mother Pepsi...they are both absolutely beautiful!

I love this spot on the back porch of the house. Beautiful light overlooking the pond.

I love the colors of the flowers with the dresses! Chelsi's mother put together the arrangements!  Bridesmaids: on the left her two sister in law's and on the right, best friends from college.

So precious! Her brother's two children Mason & Madeline. Looks like mason was super sleepy!

Groomsmen: Cody's brother Zach & his son Ethan, Best friend Andrew, and Brother in Law's Mark & Phillip w/ son Mason

Chelsi's Dad Mark is a pastor and had the honor of officiating the ceremony. It was so personal and heartfelt. Of course, I cried. At this moment I remember all of the sudden looking through the camera and it all hitting me. My little Cody is getting married! The photos are clear, but my eyes were not!

Their were several very beautiful moments in the ceremony, this is one of my favorites. Planting a tree together to represent the care and nurturing it takes to have a Godly marriage. Pastor Mark searched for the perfect tree and talked about how the tree was connected to a larger tree representing God and family. He had a beautiful message tying in the care of the tree.

Here, Cody & Chelsi wanted to have their parents and grandparents pray over them and give their blessing over their new life together. Loved it!

I loved the little kid's coloring books Chelsi made! All stories of fairy tale weddings !

A fun signature album I made from their engagement session. I love this because each page asks a different question to get advice from the wedding guest!

I love this little trick! So fun to mess with the groom! When we blindfolded him, only Chelsi was in the chair. Now he has to find her! haha!

These two cousins could not be pulled apart! Ethan was attached to blaine, and copied everything he did all night!

Watching Cody & Chelsi dance reminded me of the first time I saw them dance together. I have always photographed the high school proms, and I was able to do Cody's senior prom. They has only been dating a few months, and the were both quiet and shy around others. When they stepped out on the dance floor that night, it was like they were the only ones their. They had so much fun together and didn't care who was watching! Shocked everyone! I had a deep feeling then that this day would come! Perfect match!

Cody's brother Zach & his beautiful wife Erika. (also newly married)  I've never seen him so happy!

Turns out Pastor Mark & Chelsi had a few dance moves to impress everyone with! I could imagine her as a little girl dancing around the house with her daddy thinking of this day.

Mary Claire Henderson Meet Mary Claire Henderson! Born October 6th, 7lbs 14oz : Parents Katie & Mitchell Henderson, big sisters Emily & Adalyn.

I met Claire at her first session when she was a week old. She was alert and mobile! She is such a strong little girl! She wiggled and kicked out of every wrap but she loved it when mommy & Daddy were holding her! She stayed alert through all of her session. She didn't want to miss a thing! I love the way she just studied everything around her!

A couple weeks later, I visited Claire to get a few more photos. I loved her nursery! The little grey elephants are a popular thing!

Look at those sweet little feet!

One month old and Mary Claire is practically standing up in this bucket! She is strong, wide-eyed and alert! I think she will be keeping her big sisters busy!

Congratulations to Katie & Mitchell! I can't wait to see her again! Such a sweet baby!

Elizabeth "Ellie" Harper Matthews Mark & Shelby waiting on Ellie to arrive! This beautiful spot at Irmo Park is where we first did their engagement session a few years ago. This is a special session to me, Mark is one of my favorite cousins on my husband's side of the family and I loved Shelby from the moment I met her. I know they will be great parents!

Meet Elizabeth "Ellie" Harper Matthews! She arrived on Wednesday, November 9th at 2:07pm, 7lbs 4oz, 20 inches long. Ellie was born at the new Park Ridge Hospital, in Irmo, SC. This is my first time photographing a birth, and it was amazing. Shelby was so strong, focused and patient. Mark was steady support. As soon as Ellie arrived and he first laid eyes on his little girl, I knew he would never be the same. Shelby couldn't wait to console Ellie. When she snuggled into her mother's gown she settled right down with the sound of a familiar heartbeat and warmth of her mother.

One week later…. what a beautiful little nursery! Floral cribbing, sweet little gray elephants, more clothes & hair bows  than she could ever wear neatly organized and waiting to accessorize sweet baby Ellie!

Tower of quilts made by "Gammy" for her little princess.

And enough bows to last a lifetime!

Ellie snuggles like a pro anywhere we placed her! I can't wait to hold her again!

Congratulations Mark & Shelby! You are already awesome parents!

The relationship and bond between a horse owner and their horse is something I am very familiar with. Club 180 Block Party This past Saturday Sydney and I had the opportunity to photograph a Block Party hosted by Club 180 & Xavier Baez International Ministries on Boone Street in Columbia.

"Club 180 is an outreach arm of Xavier Baez Ministries. It's a 501c3 non-profit organization, which will provide a safe environment to help at risk youth from 5-18 years of age to develop their sense of self-worth, make positive choices and help further the quality of education they receive. It will also promote healthy eating habits by providing them a healthy meal and fun activities throughout the month based on biblical principles." -Xavier Baez (newsletter)

There were several organizations and volunteers involved for the block party. It was great to see the community come together for the overall cause and support each other.

Pictured here is Teen Challenge / Super Thrift and Columbia World Outreach

The kids loved the Balloon characters by Balloonopolis! Jenna, the balloon lady had a continuous line of kids for two hours!

It was great to see the Richland County Sherriff's Department  out supporting the block party. The kids loved the Giant Officer they brought out!

These guys were awesome! Christian Rap Artist, all with their separate ministries, but they often work together. Sinclair Salters, 4runna, Tilplaceleft, JayWill & Davyne Dantzler. You can also find them on Urban City Radio & Freethinkers Radio.

Home Depot of Lexington & Irmo also came together for the event and sent a great crew out to do wood crafts with the kids. It was awesome to see all the kids working together and helping each other with the projects.

This sweet man volunteered his time and equipment and started cooking early Saturday am to provide good food for the event.

We met several families and kids that will be able to participate in the program Club 180 will provide in the community. This is one beautiful lady and her 3 girls that live in the area.  She will be using the after school program for her girls.

Pictured here is Pastor Xavier Baez and the kids in the community that will be impacted by this program. We are very excited about what the Baez Ministry is doing. If you would like to donate to help this organization go to the website

Also, if you participated and photos from the event are free to download for your use at this link. CWilbanks Photography

Matt & Hannah Gault Hannah was such a beautiful bride! We started out with her bridal portrait back in August at a old farm house in Whitmire,SC.  It was so hot but she toughed it out! Guys really have no idea what we go through!

Hannah & her grandfather made this bench together. It was an old bed frame they took apart and made into a bench for her bridal portrait! Love it!

The wedding day started the day at Matt's parents historical home in Laurens where the entire wedding party prepared for the day. I loved this place! Long winding driveway leading to the house, beautiful light in every room, big open rooms with a mix of modern and antique style.

The bridal party was so much fun! Coming up the winding stairs I heard laughter, singing and music from the girls.

Annabel was the sweetest little flower girl! She was interested in every detail!

Mrs. Donna, Matt's mother, had this beautiful brass hanger to hang Hannah's wedding dress. It went perfectly with the delicate lace, buttons and brass chandler.

Look at these beautiful girls! College roommates, high school friends, family & work relationships turned to great friendships! She is surrounded by the girls that have her back! They all were so beautiful and fun to be around. I loved the burnt orange, boots & fall flowers!

With girls like this, you have to do the "Bridesmaid's Movie" pose. We had to add to it a little. With the busted zipper accident!

The guys…they needed a lot of supervision. They were crazy. Especially the one on the end. Travis was a complete nut, but he kept everyone entertained all day! With all the craziness, Matt was super calm. I think he just wanted to get married!

Next we headed to the wedding ceremony. The Clinton House Plantation marked my first time shooting at this beautiful venue. The plantation is a hunting preserve in Laurens county that host memorable hunts year round with weddings sprinkled in between. On Saturday, September 17th they started out the fall season with Matt & Hannah's wedding day.

These sweet little girls are some of Hannah's gymnastic students at Dance South in Laurens where she teaches. Later in the night, they took over the dance floor!

Carter & Blake were the cutest little ring bearers carrying a message for Matt down the isle. Haha

The Ceremony was beautiful, short and sweet! It's hot outside and time to celebrate!

Wedding cakes are my favorite! Every detail of the reception was beautiful! I loved the table decorations and the food was outstanding!

"Black Tie Affair" These guys have been bringing the party for almost 25 years! They were great!

My favorite! Tricking Matt into getting the garter off of Mr. Ringer's leg! We should have had him shave a little! Hahaha!

Special thanks to all the wedding vendors involved in this perfect day!

Jack, Luke & Friends This session was so much fun! The Hughes family were the winners of our equine photo contest a few weeks ago. Claire Elizabeth Corley On August 17, 2016 Ty and LeAnna Corley welcomed Claire Elisabeth Corley into the world! My mother and I were so excited to drive to Charlotte to photograph this sweet baby! Ty is one of my cousins, and we loved his wife LeAnna the moment we met her a few years ago! This newborn trip was extra special. There was no doubt they would make good parents, but after seeing them interact and work together to feed, change and comfort Claire, it melted my heart! While we were there, Claire was having a stressful time figuring out feeding. At just 24 hours old, this is one of the normal things babies go through. It can be very stressful for the parents, but LeAnna was so calm & Ty was eager to do anything to help. I can't wait to watch this sweet baby grow! I know for sure there will be some cute Clemson tiger outfits in her future!

I finally got to ride to Charlotte this week and see Claire to photograph her in her cute little room! She was so sweet! She slept throughout every pose and change! I can't wait to go back for her 6 month session!

This little blanket and pillow is very special. Made just for her by her Grandma "G", Cindy Corley :)

We can't have a photo session in this house without a little Clemson added in! She must like it! It's the only photo I caught her smiling in!

Here are my favorites!

S&S Farm / Rynn's Birthday / Equine Photography So, Rynn (my little cousin) recently turned 13, and I had promised her a birthday photo session. It was so much fun, because Sydney did her hair & makeup, helped with the session, took a few of her own ideas and made beautiful photos. I love watching these girls work together and grow up. Rynn picked out one of the horses to do her session with. "Gucci", "Frosty", "Shady"…we haven't had her long, and haven't 100% decided on a name yet. This really was a fun session, because the "Gray" horse is only four, so she's very antsy, curious, sweet & bossy. When you combine that with Rynn who has the same personality, it's very entertaining!

"Gray" didn't want to stand where you wanted her & she wanted to eat everything she saw (including Rynn's shirt).

She finally calmed down a little and cooperated.

Until Rynn wanted to walk her somewhere else... Eventually she settled down and enjoied the attention. Actually we bribed her with treats.

Behind the scenes of one Sydney took.. Turned out BEAUTIFUL :) One of my favorites of Rynn. She is such a beautiful, sweet girl. She is actually a city girl, but we have totally taken that out of her. She hangs out with us a lot and I have quickly turned her into farm help and a decent little rider!

This session is password protected.

If you know Rynn's family well enough, you will know the answer to the question to open the gallery.

Christopher Cash Harris Meet Christopher Cash Harris : Born May 31st @ 11:27am * 6lbs 12oz *  19.5 inches long

When I first walked into the hospital room, I was greeted with a sweet hug by proud big sister Natalie. She was so excited to show off her new baby brother. She couldn't stop smiling! She watched every little move he made and was eager to tell me all about him.

Natalie is 100% Daddy's little girl. While Cash got a quick snack ;) Natalie and Shane were intently playing a game of "I Spy". I could tell this is something they do often.

Now Cash is happy and ready for more photos. Natalie is thrilled to snuggle with him. He is a little confused and is trying to suck on her face!

We can't leave out Mr. Fox! Picked out by Natalie for Cash to snuggle with :)

His big sister Kenna, having some fun, showing his head is about the size of a doughnut!

This sweet little boy will never learn to walk due to his big sisters Kenna & Mikhail!

Poor daddy worked so hard delivering this baby. He's tired. I'm glad Katie was nice enough to let him take a nap! ;)

WCS Photography Class Field Trip I had so much fun today with the WCS Photography Class! They took a short trip to tour my CWIlbanks Photography studio. My 3 story building was built in the early 1900's, burnt down and rebuilt in 1917. They enjoied seeing one of the oldest working elevators in SC, the upstairs with a cool antique bathroom and the creepy basement with a "cave" that runs under the main street sidewalk. A few of the students took photos down there, and I showed them how to use the natural light coming through the glass blocks in the sidewalk to create cool images. ( hopefully I can get those from the school camera to show) We then walked around town and worked on photos of patterns in town. I showed them if you look around, they are everywhere! From to details on the light poles, man hole covers, architecture of the old buildings, the tennis court fence, even the trash cans! Here is one a student named Alyssa took with my camera of the basket ball goal and the trash can.

Heres a couple I took of the tennis court fence, which I told them look boring at first, but if you move around and get different perspectives, it can be very interesting! Notice the "leading lines" headed to Ethan on the bench on the far right photo. When you put the 3 photos together it frames him in a cool way. Because well…Ethan is cool. ( Next time you head to the Piggly Wiggly and he rings you up, give him a high five and tell him how cool he is ;)

Here's on of a very old cactus plant. Using the macro lens, we talked about focusing on one area, and stepped through the changes to get the light were we want it and show the detail in the spikes so the rest of the plant fades away into a blur. One of the students took this one. A even cooler shot would be to get in a little closer and move around the plant for different perspectives.

We had to stop and include  Mr. Willie in our day! He is a staple of main street. Always and encouraging word and a big smile on his face! He is the best car detail man around! Although today, he was preparing his fishing rod! We talked about instead of "posing" someone, to just talk to them as you photograph them. Get real responses, ask questions, be interested in them and joke around. Before you know it, you have gotten a few great shots during a short engaging conversation!  Much better than a stiff, posed photo. You can't look at this one and not LOVE Mr. Willie! Such an awesome man!

Then we bombarded Thomas's Grill for lunch! As we waited, I photographed a few of the kids. I took these simple photos of Chase, and I wanted to focus on accentuating his gorgeous blue eyes.  We talked about a starting point with your camera, looking at what you have in the first shot and changing the settings to get to where you want to be.  The first photo of Chase was my starting point. It didn't show his eyes off like I wanted and the light was to hot on his face, so to fix that I had him turn his nose towards the light and I changed my position so I could get a better shot showing off his blue eyes and also cut out the distractions in the background. Chase, is super cool and had to keep his cool face on, so I had to trick him into a real smile.  I really loved the little bit of time I was able to spend with this class! I went to the school a few months ago and was able to teach them a few things about the elements of photography and composition. So much fun! I can't wait to have more time with them again! Thanks to Mrs. Bryant for having me! Hopefully, I will get access to some of the photos the students took with their phones and school cameras so I can post them soon!

Tori & Ben I am so excited to work with Tori & Ben! I met Tori years ago when I photographed her for dance photos, and I was able to work with Tori again as a bridesmaid in her brother's wedding last year.  I always thought she was so beautiful! Long dark hair and beautiful green eyes! When I realized who she was marrying, I was thrilled to do their wedding! I didn't previously know Ben, but his daddy is "Coach Baird" my FAVORITE teacher when I was at Newberry High School! Both families are so down to earth, easy going and fun! This will be an awesome wedding! I can't wait until November!

A little about Ben and Tori, they first met at church years ago and soon after Ben and Tori's brother, Kevin became friends. Ben started to hang out more and about 4/5 years ago they were both at a 4th of July party when Tori caught Ben's attention. Ben approached Tori's mother and politely asked permission to dance with her daughter. (coolest thing ever, guy's don't do that kind of thing anymore). Their first official date was an Eric Church concert, then they began hunting together and soon became official.

So one night this past December, they took a walk in downtown Newberry and under the Christmas lights at Town Hall, he asked the big question and she said YES! November 19th 2016 can't get here fast enough!

Show some love for Tori & Ben in the comment section bellow & share the blog post on FB! If they get 8 shares and 10 comments they get a free 8x10!

S&S Farm / Trey & Cash / Equine Photography This is my nephew Trey Cranford, and his horse Cash. Trey is 15 years old, and has been riding and taking lessons here at S&S Farm for a couple years to get him ready to rodeo. He's about to enter his second year with Carolina Youth Rodeo Association. He started out entering in Chute Dogging and is about to do more  barrel racing & pole bending. His horse Cash, is a 25 year old retired 1D (used to be very fast) barrel horse. With Trey on his back, he knows to take it easy, and he has been a great friend and teacher to Trey. They trot or lope around the pattern, Cash never gets too excited or goes much over a lope, even though Trey tries to get more speed from him. It's funny when a good horse can tell if theres a kid on his back. They just take care of them. Tonight after Trey's little mini photo session, he practiced and exercised his horse with my girls. Trey got a little rough in Cash's mouth one too many times and Cash gave Trey a few "warning" bucks.  Trey wasn't upset, he realized where he went wrong. I was proud of Trey because he didn't give up. He eased up on him and kept trying. It did scare him a little, but there's no better way to learn than from your mistakes. Animals are sometimes the best teachers.

Easter Mini Sessions 2016 I always love doing my Easter Mini Sessions! Combining 2 of my favorite things, children & animals! A normal Easter session is cute, but when you add a sweet little bunny in the photo, it transforms the session into pure joy! I love to get the kid's reactions to feeding the bunnies and watching them hop around. The bunnies this year were tame pets borrowed from a friend for the weekend. They loved the attention. I couldn't have done it without my animal helpers, Sadie & Sydney. They are always there to add the bunnies in when needed, and help keep them safe from little hands :) We had a great Mini Session weekend! We started off the weekend in studio & ended up Sunday at S&S Farms adding horses and puppies to the mix!    This little sweetie missed her Valentine session, so we added that in. She is too cute!! Little baby model!!

Special thanks to my oldest daughter Sydney for helping me keep the kids entertained in-between sessions, and my Mother/ Salesperson Judy for taking time with the parents to place orders while me and Sydney play with the kids! They LOVE Snapchat & Sidewalk Chalk!

S&S Farm / First Love / Sadie & Red Man These photos make my heart full.  Sadie, my youngest daughter, Red Man, that one special horse, and the girl behind the camera, Sydney. My beautiful, talented teenager, photographer in training. She amazes me with the way she completely captured the relationship between them. This was a special session, Red Man is a horse one of our good friends let us use to get the girls started in rodeo. We have had him for a little over 2 years and he completely raised Sadie and Sydney's confidence in riding. Best kids horse ever!  It was time to graduate from him so Sadie could get started on her new horse "Barbie". We had to do some departing photos to make Sadie feel better.

I gave Sydney a little guidance in camera settings, but other than that, it was all her! I had a lot of favorites, but we narrowed them down to these. (and of course we had to mark them with her own logo…still under the CWilbanks Photography theme since she is on her way as a paid photographer assistant!)

"Every horse deserves to be loved by a little girl at lease once in their life"

"Best friends come in all sizes"

"I know one little girl that would rather tumble off a horse than fall for a boy"

And here is Sydney's signature shot. The first one is of their first horse, Sugar.  (Sydney entered it in the SC BETA Club photo competition a couple years ago and got 2nd place) We had to do another one symbolizing Sadie's stages in horses with Red Man.

Seriously, their is nothing that makes me happier than these two girls and their horses. I am so grateful for the blessings we have been given with these special relationships and life lessons only a horse can give!

Gabrielle Goggins "Gabby" man what a mess! I love this little girl! Her chubby little cheeks and big eyes like her brother Gavin! Gabby is in my baby plan, just like her big brother was. She was so much fun with this session. We dressed her up like a little baby doll, and tried everything under the sun to make her laugh! She would just stare at us like we were crazy! BUT…when I got her big brother Gavin involved, she was cracking little sweet smiles, as long as he didn't touch her, then she jerked away from him! haha. Learning quick! Those boys only want to aggravate!!

Here are a few of my favorites!

Check out this cute little tutu her mama made for this session!! Guess what!! It's mine now! We made a trade! Now I can dress up more little girls! :)

Cody & Chelsi This engagement session is very special to me. Cody is my nephew and Chelsi and her family have been in our life for years. Cody and Chelsi started dating 5 years ago. Cody got the courage to ask her out on the last day of high school. Perfect timing, because Chelsi said she would have told him no before then because she wasn't interested in dating :) Chelsi is very goal oriented and knows what she wants! Cody also had a specific idea in mind of the person he wanted to share his life with. He knew pretty early on, she was the one for him, so he held on to her and waited for the right timing in their life. This past Christmas Cody proposed during their first trip to NYC to visit Chelsi's family. The most awesome proposal in the middle of Central Park, ice skating ring. She was completely taken by surprise. They are excited about planning their upcoming wedding on July, 29, 2016 in Leesville, SC @ T & S Farms

For I have found the one my soul loves -Song of Solomon 3:4

"And so it was …that she having waited long & endured patiently, realized and obtained what God had promised"    Hebrews 6:15

They had few visitors during their session!

Cody & Chelsi will have a strong future together because they both honor God with their life and put Him first.

Maverick Lee Martin Meet Maverick Lee Martin Born on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2015 @ 4:45am. 7.2lbs, 21in

Maverick is the son of Stephanie & Sam Martin, I've known them for a few years, as horse riding buddies. I'm so excited to have Maverick on the baby plan so I can photograph his first year. I can't wait to see his personality and interest develop! We traveled to their home to photograph him in his nursery. As you will see, his room is full of tiny little boots & horses. It won't be long and Maverick will be in the show arena and trails like his parents! Here are a few of my favorites.

I loved the pallet wall his daddy built in his room and the board on the wall is not just a piece of wood, it came from Stephanie's Daddy's old barn. It says

"Hold him a little longer, rock him a little more, tell him another story (you've only told him 4), let him sleep on your shoulder, rejoice in his happy smile, he is only a little boy for such a little while"

We wanted Maverick to curl up on Stephanie's saddle, but he wasn't sure about it. Daddy calmed him right down and he was just fine.

Maverick is still loving to curl in a little ball, just like he was just 8 days ago! He settled right down into the little bucket :)

Leave a sweet comment in the section bellow! If Maverick gets 10 or more comments he gets a free 8x10 for his mommy!!

The Hamilton Family Kim, Derrick, Cade & Chloe! I love this family! I went to school with Kim, photographed their wedding, and had both their children on the baby plan! Kim has been a huge asset to my business by all the customers she sends me! Me and Cade have had a deal for a while. He collects mini horses I have at the studio, so every time he comes, he gets to take one home. I ran out, so I owe him a couple! Chloe on the other hand, were making progress. She's a mess! The last session we tried (her 2 year old session) She would not have anything to do with me! But this time, she was a happy girl! She let me hold her and we had some play time after the session! Made me so happy! I love watching these kids grow! Here are a few of my favorites!

2016 Senior *Alyssa Cseh Cranford* When I just typed the title of this blog..2016 Senior Alyssa Cseh Cranford…my eyes teared up. I can't even believe it. Cseh (pronounced "Shay" not "Cash" or "K-say" as some people say haha) is my little baby niece. When she was little with her tight blonde curls and big green eyes, she was my buddy. My little motor mouth with a big creative mind that never stopped. Everyone's boss. At 3 years old she barked out orders and told crazy stories with confidence. Not much has changed, haha. She has slowly slipped through my hands and has grown to be a beautiful smart young lady about to graduate high school. I am so proud of her. She's a lot like her mother. Determined, intelligent, problem solver with lots of vision & drive.

Here is a photo of Cseh when she was 5 years old in my front yard. My first time photographing her. She was so serious. Look at her now. LOL. We had to recreate it.

2016 Senior *Chris Keisler* Chris Allen Keisler Jr. was a member of the varsity football team for one year. In that year the team finished with a 6-5 record, even making it to the playoffs. Chris played many portions on both offense and defense. His favorite moment of the season was beating their rival team, Dixie on Senior Night. After high school, Chris plans to attend Peidmont Tech and get a degree in Welding.

Chris is my nieces boyfriend and has been considered a part of our family for a few years now. He has past all the family test, including our test here at the Wilbanks farm. He can ride horses well, help make hunting spots and find missing pigs! :) Seriously, he is a great guy. He has vision for his life, very polite, hard working, smart and always willing to help. He's pretty quiet and seems shy, but when you get to know him, he has a great personality. We are very proud of Chris and encourage him in his future plans! Here are a few of my favorites!

Here is a before / after for the retouching from Chris's photo. Not that he needed much. He's pretty awesome as is!

True Light Ministries A couple weeks ago I had a call to photograph a church group in Newberry "True Light Ministries". I took my mother with me on this rainy day, to do what I thought was a routine photo shoot. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew it was something different. Walking in from the dreary day into a different atmosphere, but much different than what I expected. I had been having a rough week with my father in law being in the hospital, and just the busy normals mixed in. I walked in and was overcome with peace. I began photographing the group, Bishop Troy Price and his sons and daughters. They are a family ministry, homeschooled and completely dedicated to where God leads them. The kids were a pure joy. So sweet, polite, sincere and beaming with personallity. After photographing each member, and a few of them all together, I asked them to sing a couple songs so I could photograph them doing what they love. The minute they started playing, tears started rolling down my face. Through their music, God was healing my heart. I did not go in encouraged. It had not been a good week. That day God reminded me it's not always about the job. Sometimes theres a different purpose for your task. I needed to be there. They prayed over my father in law, and I left with no worries. I hope I was a blessing to them as well. I felt there was no need to pay me, because that day, I was there for another reason. God always has a plan. If you are ever in Newberry, stop and visit "True Light Ministries" on College street. They have Sunday services, Tuesday & Friday night services.

I had a good team. Sadie, my youngest, loves Maddie & Joseph, so I brought her along to entertain, thats were a lot of the laughs and expression came from. I always have my oldest, Sydney with me to help with added light / reflectors. My favorites are the ones of Maddie & Joseph on the wall. The were just laughing and playing! I always love seeing these kids!

The Cunningham Family This session made me SO HAPPY!!! Brandon, is my cousin, I haven't seen in about 4 years. I was so happy for him and his wife Lindsay to come visit and bring little Brandon, Laikyn & Blake to play with us!! We had a lot of fun doing a family photo session. Laykin, always smiled so sweet, but Brandon & Blake had to make crazy faces..and I LOVED it! They are so funny! This is the sweetest family. You can tell Brandon & Lindsay are off to a good start with parenting, because the kids were full of life, but so well behaved and listened to their parents. Everything they said ended with "Mam" & "Sir".  The girls LOVED them! And the kids had a blast riding horses and helping feed all the animals. I can't wait to have them back over again! Check out a few favorites of these cute kids!!

Let me tell you, these are great young men. They are so polite and have great personalities! Just like their mama! They all are big hunters (including their mama), play sports, archery, and help take care of a lot of horses! Our families have a lot in common!

Matthew & Lauren Fogle Matthew & Lauren were married on October 17th at the Robert Mills House, in downtown Columbia. I blogged their engagement session and Lauren's bridal portraits if you want to take a look :) I knew from the moment I met Lauren and Matthew together at their engagement session, this would be a great wedding.  They were so fun and easy going, and has a great connection with each other. As the wedding day approached, I got more excited about their wedding. We were friends on Facebook and I got to see the excitement leading up to their big day.  They had the coolest themed wedding showers, with every detail thought of, and Lauren and her bridesmaids went to Disney World for their bachelorette party!! What?? Yes, a "Last Cinderella's Ball". It Looked awesome. They should have had the wedding photographer with them!! haha. Anyway, I was excited about this wedding and it was awesome. I loved everything about it. I don't think I have ever met a closer wedding party than Lauren and her girls, and Matthew and his guys. They were so close and connected, more like family than friends. Here are some of my favorites from the day. To view all click here. Whitmire Recreation Football I always love photographing these kids! I think over the years how old it makes me feel. I went to school with most of these coaches, my husband played football with them and I have been photographing the recreation teams in our town for 13 years now! I have Pee Wee Football photos of seniors I'm photographing now! (I have to look some of those up and post them to the blog). I love these hometown jobs!

Here are a few of my favorites from this week's Flag, Junior, Pee Wee teams & cheerleaders.  Some of these little ones were like posing Jello once we got to the team photo! They were so cute! and wiggly, and hyper!  This one is special. The three coaches and their boys. These guys have been coaching since their kids were 4 & 5 years old, every sport. I suspect they will stick with it as long as their boys are playing. (and I went to school with these guys too:) Great Daddys! The one in the middle is a little crazy, the other two coaches are too cool to participate! haha

Thank you to the Town of Whitmire & the Whitmire Recreation Department for the local business!

Kevin & Lindsay Brehmer Lindsay's bridal portrait: Location, the Kyzer home, beautiful historic home on the saluda river. This home has been in the family for years and has so much history. Beautiful place with so much meaning. Here are a few of my favorites from her bridal session.

The Wedding Day

Kevin & Lindsay Brehmer's wedding was awesome! I love this family. I used to work with Lindsay's sister Ashley, photographed her wedding :) and had the honor of photographing Lindsay's also. I was so excited to do it.  The day started out at the Kyzer home where the girls got ready. Lots of chatter, laughter and selfies!

Meet the groom, Kevin Brehmer and his posse. Fun group of guys! They got pretty entertaining as the day went on!

Love love the little ring man Bryson. He was the cutest ever!   Check out the look on Kevin's face as Lindsay came throughout the doors of the church! He was beaming! He was so excited to see her.

This beautiful cake was made by Lindsay's mother, Barbra. So special, and it was very good!

We decided to play a little trick on Kevin :) Daddy should have shaved his legs and cut his toenails!

Beautiful wedding day in spite of the rain! Thank you to all who made the Brehmer wedding special! Here is a list of the vendors involved!

Addison & Asher Meet Addison & Asher. Addison is a friend of my daughters that is in Youth rodeo, and Asher is her crazy little brother. I took a few photos of them when they were at the house this weekend. I had to bribe Asher with a toy dinosaur so he would let me photograph him. I wish I would have been able to photograph Addison practicing barrels on her new horse, but I was in the arena with her helping. She is a fearless little rider and a fast learner! Addison is also a Karate expert! Won a ton of trophies!

Asher is a character in himself. I predict he will do something awesome and creative when he is older. I am floored by the things he comes up with. Here is a little example of something he has said to his mother recently:

"When me and (daycare friend) get married and drop our kids off at school we'll say 'ah kids, they grow up so fast' then we'll go to work where I'll practice being a knight on cardboard dragons and princesses. And we won't make the same rules for our kids that you have made for me and Boppy (his sister). We won't spank  them for making bad choices. We'll just keep letting them play."
