1996-1998 : Went to school at Alabama Southern with a full Academic/Art scholarship where I mostly loved Art history, darkroom techniques, photography composition and painting murals as side projects with my favorite class. I had fun learning a few things. Great "college experience" short lived.

1998-2000: enjoyed a fun hobby with the learning curve that happened between film and digital transition.

2000-2006: started a contract with South Carolina High School Rodeo Association, where I created a crew with my mother & sister, where we traveled to the rodeos in South Carolina and neighboring states covering all the rodeo events. I was Published in "Western Horseman" magazine in 2005, and continued to progress and into expanding into portraits and weddings.

2003-2006: Attended business and photography classes at Piedmont tech and joined South Carolina Professional Photographer's Association where I really started to grow and expand my business.

2006-2021: Opened my first studio, and expanded to full time with weddings and family photography. In 2006, I got a contract with my first dance school and it quickly expanded to several.

Over the years, I have many avenues of photography and found that I mostly enjoy working with Dance Schools and creating Landscape Portraits.  I have 24 years invested in my love of photography. I will not say I can cover "all of your photography needs" because I have found over the years, if my heart is not in it, I will not do you justice.

I love to photograph the connection in a loving relationship. I love to surround myself in happy moments & memories that make me feel the joy of those moments. I want to share my love and skill to create valuable art in your home that brings joy through wall art, coffee table books and digital media to share with your friends and family.

Other than that, I have 2 beautiful girls, Sydney and Sadie and we spend our spare time raising Australian Shepherd puppies {Carolina Aussies} <check it out, riding horses and traveling.

"Studio 163" is the address of my multi-purpose 3 story building on Main Street in our town. Rebuilt in 1917 after a fire, it still houses one of the oldest working elevators in the state. It originally was a local community store that sold everything from clothes, tools, animal feed to fresh produce. It also included a stable behind the building. Check out our building Facebook Studio163  to see photos.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans"

>>>Proverbs 16:3 <<<

We have owned this building since 2006 when at first it was way too much for what I needed, but My mother had a vision of all the things it could be used for. God quickly blessed with opportunities to put it to use. Over the years it has beed used for kids karate & womens fitness classes, couples dance classes, private events such as my best friends wedding, womens' ministry events birthday parties and family gatherings.

In 2012 we added a small business called Creative Hands Art & Music Studio where My mother, girls and I taught adult and kids art classes, summer art camps and my nephew taught guitar lessons for kids.  This amazing building also includes an upstairs apartment that has housed many people over the years including family.  Back in 2018 we were blessed to have the entire upstairs redone to where we started a video recording studio for a few national and local evangelist along with small business promotions. Currently it is available for the next opportiunities to arrive. We are excited for what is ahead of us.
